A paid research opportunity for current and retired day and night shift healthcare professionals in Southern Nevada.
As both a registered nurse and mortgage loan officer, I love sharing opportunities that may benefit our healthcare community.
I recently learned about this UNLV School of Nursing research study examining how shift work, sleep, and circadian rhythms may influence long-term cognitive health. If you've worked days or nights in healthcare, this may be something you're interested in learning more about.

Why This Research Matters
Shift work is a reality for many healthcare professionals. Studies like this may help researchers better understand how sleep patterns and circadian rhythms influence long-term cognitive health, including the risk of conditions such as Alzheimer's disease.
From One Nurse to Another
As a fellow registered nurse, I know firsthand the challenges of working nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules. My Healthcare Heroes blog isn't just about mortgages—it's about supporting the healthcare professionals who dedicate their lives to caring for others. Whenever I come across opportunities like this that may benefit our nursing community, I'll be happy to share them.

I know people who need a sleep study. What a great option, get a study and get paid.
I think that's a great idea. Too much Alzheimer's/Dementia today compared to years ago. Something has to be affecting more people. Thanks for sharing!
